WHAT ARE YOUR BOTTLES MADE OUT OF?
The Townsfolk bottles are made from 304 Grade Stainless Steel that is a food grade material. The lids are made using plastic, silicone and stainless steel to create a firm vacuum seal.
WHY DO YOU USE STAINLESS STEEL?
Stainless Steel is 100% recyclable, durable, non-pours, non-corrosive, easy to clean with low thermal conductivity ideal for insulation.
DO YOUR BOTTLES HAVE PLASTIC LINERS?
No. 304 Grade Stainless Steel is a food grade material, so there is no need for any plastic liners inside The Townsfolk bottles.
ARE YOUR BOTTLES BPA FREE?
Yes. The Townsfolk bottles are made from high quality, food grade Stainless Steal which his naturally BPA free. Our lids are made of mixed materials, (plastic, silicone and stainless steel) which are also BPA free.
ARE THE BOTTLES INSULATED?
Yes, the double wall stainless steel construction offers advanced insulation, holding beverages at their starting temperature for hours. Drinks stay cold for 24 hours and hot drinks stay warm for up to 12 hours.
CAN I PUT BOILING WATER IN MY BOTTLE?
Yes, but be careful when opening as the insulation is highly effective and water will stay very hot for hours.
ARE YOUR BOTTLES SCRATCH RESISTANT?
No. Stainless Steel can scratch and dent. To keep your bottle looking its best we recommend keeping it away from abrasive surfaces and avoid dropping. A few scratches and dings won’t impact the performance of your bottle but it won’t look as good as it does new.

IS MY BOTTLE RECYCLABLE?
Yes, The Townsfolk bottles are made using 304 Grade Stainless Steel, which is fully recyclable. Our lids are made of mixed materials and should be separated from the bottle for recycling.
WHAT DRINKS CAN I USE MY BOTTLE FOR?
Because The Townsfolk bottles are made using food grade 304 Grade Stainless Steel they are suitable for all types of drinks. We do advise to consume perishable beverages immediately as we cannot guarantee the bottles will hold perishable drinks at a safe temperature for extended periods.

CAN I FREEZE MY BOTTLE?
Freezing bottles is not required and may damage your bottle. To keep drinks icy cold, we recommend simply adding ice and keeping the bottle tightly sealed until you’re ready to drink.
CAN I MICROWAVE MY BOTTLE?
The Townsfolk bottles should not be used in the microwave. To keep drinks warm, simply fill your bottle with your drink at the required temperature or a little warmer if you won’t be drinking it right away. The double wall insulation will keep your drink warm for hours. If filling with boiling water, take care not to scold yourself when opening as water will remain very hot for hours.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY BOTTLE?
We recommend gently hand washing your bottle before use and at the end of everyday using warm water and mild detergent. Leave up side down with the lid off to allow the water to drain free and dry completely before re-sealing.
WILL MY BOTTLE SWEAT?
No. The double wall insulation means the outside of your bottle never comes in contact with your beverage, so condensation won’t form on the outside of your bottle.
WILL MY BOTTLE FEEL HOT OR COLD TO HOLD?
No. The double wall insulation means the outside of your bottle never comes in contact with your beverage, keeping it comfortable to hold no matter how hot or cold your drinks is inside.
WILL MY BOTTLE LEAK?
If used correctly your bottle will not leak. If you do experience leaking check the following:
- Make sure the lid is correctly threaded and screwed on tight. The vacuum seal will offer a little resistance so always make sure the lid is firmly secured to prevent leaks.
- Make sure your bottle isn’t overfilled. Bottles should be filled to below the thread line to leave plenty of room for the lid to completely seal.
- Make sure the lid is completely dry after cleaning. If water sits in the lid after washing it can leak out during use.
- Check the lid to make sure the internal silicone seal is firmly in place. The silicone seal provides a firm vacuum seal and may cause leakage if damaged.
